1965 Main Campus Soil Boring Test

Description: 

This 1965 document, the results of a test performed by Georgia Testing Laboratories, Inc. for Bothwell and Associates (Atlanta, GA) reveals the soil structure at varying elevations around the main campus site of the original Cobb-Marietta Junior College.  This test, performed by boring to certain sub-surface depths to analyze content, would help determine certain methods of construction.  Courtesy of Paul Underwood at Facility Planning and Design Services.
